My name is Katie and I am 24 years old. I am married to my best friend, Jayson, or Jay for short) and we have an amazing baby boy named Miles who is our whole world and then some. I am a born and bred southerner, raised in northeast Georgia and still live here today. Y'all MIGHT have heard of a little NFL team by the name of the Atlanta Falcons...well, their training facility is less than a mile from our home.
We have 2 fur babies, a black lab/border collie mix named Jake, and a black long haired cat named chemo. My husband is an avid cyclist, and I am little by little trying to learn to love the world of fitness and health.
I have been a registered Nurse for the past three years, and it is an incredibly rewarding career. Babies are my passion, as well as my "patients". Taking care of children and babies is my niche, and I cannot picture myself doing anything different.
First and foremost, I enjoy spending time with my little family. We love going to the park, zoo, or local festivals. We love any chance to be together outdoors. I have been tied to the competitive cheerleading world for several years...competing throughout high school, coaching since graduation, and this year I have moved on and will be working as a competition official. I can't wait! I lalso love cooking (not so much the cleaning up afterwards part), DIY projects, pinterest,yoga, Starbucks, refinishing furniture, and learning. Miles and I love watching daddy play sports and I can't wait to be a "team mom" for my little guy some day.
